Seven Apps Ready for Apple's Foldable iPhone

A new roundup from a tech site points readers to seven iPhone apps that it says are well suited to Apple's new foldable phone. The guide, which uses the phrase "Duo-Ready" in its headline, is aimed at owners who want to get more out of a larger, folding display.

Roundups like this are a familiar format in consumer tech coverage. They usually focus on apps that gain the most from extra screen space, such as productivity tools, reading and media apps, and utilities that work well when two things are on screen at once. The appeal for readers is practical: a new device is only as useful as the software ready to run on it.

The material available for this story does not include the names of the seven apps or details on how each one was tested, so this article does not rank or recommend any of them. Readers who want the specific picks should go to the original guide.

App support for a new screen shape often improves after launch, as developers update their software to fit it. Anyone weighing the phone should expect the library of optimized apps to grow over time.
