Mafia and Horizon Forbidden West Are Headed to PlayStation Plus

A fresh batch of games is on its way to PlayStation Plus, and two of the headliners are big-budget single-player titles: Mafia and Horizon Forbidden West. The headline says more titles are coming soon but does not list the rest of the lineup, the release dates, or which subscription tiers will include them.

Mafia is the crime franchise that started with Illusion Softworks' 2002 game, set in the fictional 1930s city of Lost Heaven. It follows a mob story built on loyalty, betrayal and the pull of organized crime. Horizon Forbidden West, from Guerrilla Games, is the 2022 sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn. It follows Aloy through a post-apocalyptic landscape where machine creatures roam, and it remains one of the most recognizable PlayStation exclusives of the last few years.

For subscribers, the appeal is simple: the service keeps adding games that would otherwise cost full price. Until Sony publishes the complete list and dates, the safest approach is to check the PlayStation Store or PlayStation Blog for the official announcement and the tier each game falls under.
