Apple's Pro and Tell Event Brings MacBook Pro, iMac and iPad mini Updates

Apple's in-person Pro and Tell event in Los Angeles on October 28 closed out a busy week of hardware news, with the company rolling out updates across its Mac and iPad lineups.

The headline launch is a MacBook Pro with a PROLED XDR display, which Apple describes as a groundbreaking step for its laptop screens. The company also introduced a 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M6 chip and a new iMac, also built around M6, both announced the day before the event.

The iPad mini got what Apple calls its biggest update ever, announced two days before the event. Apple also used the same stretch to expand Creator Studio with new AI features and additional creative tools, and it brought Siri AI to more languages.

Apple's newsroom posts list the headlines for each announcement, but the details behind them, including pricing and availability dates, are worth checking in the full press releases before making a buying decision.
